The environmental and sanitation conditions in slum communities are still deplorable. This ranges from lack of access to sanitary toilets and safe drinking water, lack of access, poor drainage system, and unmanaged waste disposal. Slum communities are more populated and congested as compared to other parts of the urban areas, because of the simple and cheap life style. This congestion and disorder creates unhygienic condition and the spread of communicable diseases which would otherwise be prevented
