The health challenges for slum-based people are more peculiar. Accessibility of these nearby centres is greatly limited due to ignorance and poor service delivery. The effects of HIV/AIDS have incomprehensively exhibited themselves in the Slum-ignorant communities in Uganda’s densely populated habitant settings. These are manifested in the high HIV/AIDS prevalence rates and unattainable HIV/AIDS incidence, resulting from the generally high risk consequence of unsafe sexual behavioral exposures which is mostly enhanced by gender based violence. Slums have continued to be a hub for irresponsible behaviors especially fuelled by some cultural and religious norms which fuel risky sexual behaviors, Lack of information, poverty and adequate support on sexual reproductive health and ignorance has greatly led to teenage pregnancy and immense suffering for the adolescent girls. Ignorance and lack of knowledge on health rights continues to limit slum dwellers from accessing available health facilities
